League of Legends Cosplay Project – Viego & Gwen

Created for the 2024 Comic Con Cape Town, this cosplay project brought two iconic League of Legends characters — Viego and Gwen — to life through handcrafted costume and prop design.

The project involved the end-to-end design and manufacture of both costumes, including detailed character props, with a strong focus on accuracy, durability, and visual impact for convention display and wearability. From concept interpretation to fabrication, we designed and built the costumes and accessories by hand, balancing craftsmanship with practical functionality for a live event environment.

This project combined creative design, prop making, costume fabrication, material sourcing, and finishing techniques to recreate recognisable game characters for one of South Africa’s largest pop culture conventions.
